Life as a car wife

Hi, my name is Hayley and I am a wife of a car guy. For those of you that have no clue about what this means.. Its the greatest worst job a family can ever be a part of. Its full of long hours, great money, stress, living fast, playing hard, and if your a real car wife. You have to be many things at many times.




My husband Tim, to date is recognized as one of the top Finance Managers in the business and he got there with the help of ME. Don't get me wrong he too will tell you the same thing. Our kids are both grown and we just became grandparents to the most adorable baby girl in July. I will add their spin on life in the car business also. Pictures too.

The beginning of it all....

As young parents living in Maine we wanted more money and a better way of life. Working plumbing and or construction hardly paid the bills.
My husband decided to sell cars at Sid Porters in Augusta Maine. To get started we went to Goodwill and his grandfather for dress clothes. Thinking in a few months we could actually go shopping for a few new suits for him. Little did we know his first pay check we paid our bills and had money left over to get him new suits. That was the best feeling to be able to do that and then some.
We learned early on that this job demanded long hours. As a result we decided I will stay home and take care of the kids.
